Tannoy are mainly associated with dual-concentric loudspeakers, but the Reveal two way speakers offer the same quality and have become popular in broadcast and project studio near-field monitor systems.

A compact active two-way loudspeaker with a rigid, curved baffle to reduce diffraction. Fitted with a soft dome tweeter and long-throw bass unit, Reveal 501A loudspeakers have been designed for simplistic installation and functionality. Front-firing reflex bass ports, avoid unwanted bass-coupling from room boundaries which is evident with rear-firing reflex bass ports, allowing for ideal positioning in confined studio spaces. A balanced XLR or unbalanced jack line input on the rear panel is accompanied by a mains voltage selector and isolation switch, input sensitivity control and HF trim to allow the tweeter output to be adjusted by +/- 1.5db from the crossover frequency of 2.3kHz upwards. Additionally the front of the speaker contains an led which shows power status. IEC supply input.
